By jingoes it's been a while. Not a whole lot of riding going on in our world the past few years, although we do get out for the odd overnighter to somewhere not too far away. Last month we did a slow but fast trip to Brisbane, 11 days on the road. Here's about the only photo i took along the way which has both of the bikes in it. At the Rabbit Trap Hotel in Albert, NSW. I've had lunch here a few times over the years. We stuffed ourselves so much at an Indian restaurant in Griffith the night before that we just shared a steak sanga and chips at the pub for lunch.
(that was a pretty wet fortnight in Melboure while we were away. For most of our trip we had glorious blue skies. 6 days heading to Brisbane and 5 heading back with 1 non-riding day in Brisbane) PUt on the wet weather gear once or twice to stay warm but we didn't get any rain at all along the way.

Skippers, Heaven on two wheels.
Skippers is certainly one special place....hopefully public pressure will see the bridge fixed rather sooner than later.

An oldie I found in a box of slides, my guess between '63 and late '66 (because Dad upgraded cars in Nov '66 - went from GXG 738 to JOK 236). Pic is of my grandmother sitting behind the family caravan at Lorne VIC.
And then at Rainbow Beach QLD, Jul '26.
About 50 years apart. Better quality pics these days.
